As a mother, a registered dietitian, and a philanthropist, Raman has used her professional expertise and experience, to make a difference. During the course of her life and career she has gained a deeper insight to the power of prevention, and how education, knowledge transfer, and building capacity in those around her can lead to empowerment, and the confidence to make a positive change.

Raman believes that one size does not fit all, and that prevention and management should be customized to each person, based on their individual lifestyle, genetics and microbiome. This passion fueled her vision of the NEA Medical Aesthetic Clinic, and teaching people how to try to achieve their best health through BioAro Inc. BioAro is a biotechnology company helping Canadians bring precision medicine into everyday life, allowing people to be the “CEO of their own health.” Raman has also co-founded a charity focusing on wellness, touching the lives of over 25,000 people.

With more than 20 years of volunteering, and working experience, she seeks out local solutions that help people live healthier lives. Raman believes in practicing what she preaches, in all facets of her life, and loves to speak publicly. Raman was the successful recipient of the Women of Inspiration Award in the category of Difference Maker.
